Help Us to Reach Men Through the Universal Language of Beer

If your brewery, pub, festival or service club is looking for a way to give back to the beer community, please consider the Pints for Prostates campaign. Our fans are the core of the craft beer consuming public and an extremely attractive demographic. Based on social media data, 80 percent of Pints for Prostates fans are men, and 68 percent of the men and women who follow our campaign are between 35-54 years old. With events spread across the U.S., we get engagement in markets from coast to coast. And our fans are loyal, regularly turning up at annual events and on social media to support the cause.

One of the best ways you can help Pints for Prostates fight prostate cancer is by hosting an event. Pints for Prostates events take a variety of different forms. The primary objective is to reach guys in a fun and relaxed environment. We fight prostate cancer by starting conversations and encouraging guys to take charge of their health. To do this we need your help in gaining access to venues and events where we can share our message. It's fun and you might just save a life.

Typically, event holders find a bar or brewery that is interested in hosting a Pints for Prostates night. In many cases, the bar or restaurant reaches out to us to support the campaign and build traffic at their location. We also look for volunteers to staff tables at beer festivals as a way to spread our message. Event hosts are sent a package with a banner, coasters, stickers, merchandise items (t-shirts, hats, wrist bands etc.) and informational pamphlets to hand out. We also accept donations for raffle tickets for an annual beer trip of a lifetime drawing. This year's dream beer trip is a 5-night Colorado Beer Adventure to Fort Collins, Boulder, and Denver CO., where the winner and their guest will tour breweries, enjoy hosted pub crawls, eat at beer centric restaurants and include tickets to the Great American Beer Festival and Denver Rare Beer Tasting!

Pints for Prostates helps promote your event on our website and social media channels. And many of our event hosts find local media outlets are willing to cover a Pints for Prostates event as a novel approach to engaging guys about a serious subject.

We have several event themes that have proven to be successful over the years. FatherFest was created by our friends at Alamo Brewing in San Antonio, Texas. Celebrated in June on Father's Day, the event is a chance to honor Dad with music, beer and food at a day out. The Festival of Manliness takes place every January at Brown's Brewing in Troy, N.Y. The event is held during the NFC and AFC Championship games and features great beer, a wild game menu and hand rolled cigars. Every August through October we celebrate Oktoberfest for a Cure with events around the country at a number of locations. September is National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month so it makes it the perfect time to remind men to get screened for prostate cancer and other common men's health issues.

The goal of all Pints for Prostates events is to have fun while doing good. We measure success by the men we reach and how we put the funds raised to work helping guys in the fight against prostate cancer.
