Denver, CO — Pints for Prostates will be at 1400 Miles Drink, Bike, Live Longer at TAG Burger Bar at 1222 Madison Street on March 6th.
100% of the sales from Oskar Blues and Epic Brewing will go to help fuel 1400 Miles in 2014. Last year NXNW Restaurant and Brewery Founder Davis Tucker made a 1,400 mile bike ride from Austin, Texas, to Denver, Colo., arriving in town as the Great American Beer Festival was about to get underway. He made the ride to help raise awareness for prostate cancer, stopping in seven cities where events were held benefiting the Pints for Prostates campaign.
Pints for Prostates is a nationwide effort that reaches men through the universal language of beer. You can get more information about Pints for Prostates at www.pintsforprostates.org.
According to the National Cancer Institute, there will be more than 238,000 men diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2013. Nearly 30,000 men will die from the disease this year.
