Charlotte, N.C. — Duckworth’s Grill & Tavern at 4435 Park Rd. in Charlotte, N.C. will host a bottle share on May 19 from 1-4 p.m. to benefit the Pints for Prostates campaign. The event is being held as part of North Carolina Craft Beer Week and offers the chance for craft beer fans to share out of market and rare beers from their personal collections with fellow beer lovers.
As part of the event, Duckworth’s has a very limited supply of Founders KBS & Doom available for purchase – only 1 bottle per person.
The entry donation for this event is $10 per person. This allows you to bring in up to three out of market/rare beers to share with others, while enjoying the special beers they bring to the event. You will also receive an entry to win the 9-night Pints for Prostates European Beer Adventure that takes polace in September. The trip includes stops in Belgium, Germany and Holland. Details about the dream trip, organized by BeerTrips.com, are here: http://www.beertrips.com/trips/pints-for-prostates.html.
If you do not have a bottle to share, you can still stop by and enjoy the fun. Duckworth’s will donate $1 from every non-promotional draft beer sold from 1 to 4 on May 19 to the Pints for Prostates campaign.
Pints for Prostates is a 501(c)3 non-profit charity that raises awareness among men about the importance of early detection in the fight against prostate cancer.
