Homebrew Humpday at Brewmasters Bar and Grill on March 6 Benefits Pints for Prostates

Raleigh, N.C. — Homebrew Humpday at Brewmasters Bar and Grill, 301 W. Martin St. in Raleigh, N.C. on March 6 will feature Ryan Weir’s Best of Show Peanut Butter Porter. Donations will be accepted to benefit Pints for Prostates.

Weir’s beer won best of show in the 2012 Bull City Burger & Brewery homebrew competition.

Brewer Profile:

I have been brewing for about 5 years and have won a few awards for various beers in different competitions.  The beer I’m bringing is my peanut butter porter that won the bull city burger and brewery competition.  This beer was brewed commercially and was served at the restaurant.  My charity is Pints for Prostates.  My dad was was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and is doing well.  My intention is to bring awareness to this disease and promote regular screenings.

We think this is an awesome cause, and look forward to seeing a BUNCH of you beer lovers and homebrewers out for this event!
