Festival of Manliness Returns to Brown’s Brewing in Troy, N.Y., on Jan. 20 to Support Pints for Prostates

Troy, N.Y. – The second annual Festival of Manliness Wild Game Beer Supper to benefit Pints for Prostates will be held at Brown’s Brewing Co. Revolution Hall at 425 River Street Troy, N.Y. on January 20 at 4 p.m.
Tickets for the event are $75 per person or $70 for Brown’s Mug Club Members and includes appetizers, paired beer per menu item, wild game beer supper, tax and gratuity. Tickets are available at Brown’s Taproom bar, Habana Premium Cigars and www.brownsbrewing.com/store.
The event features a wild game craft beer supper and hand rolled cigars while the NFC Championship plays on the venue’s 16′ x 10′ movie screen. The evening’s festivities will conclude with a raffle drawing of manly prizes, including: membership to Brown’s Mug Club, a bottle of single malt scotch, a deluxe Weber gas grill, an Ultimate Batting Experience with the Tri-City ValleyCats baseball team and tickets to next year’s TAP NY Brewer’s Festival. There will be a chance to enter to win a 9-night trip for two to Europe for a beer adventure in Amsterdam, Brussels, Cologne and Dusseldorf. One hundred percent of raffle proceeds go directly to the Pints for Prostates campaign.

Duck ‘n Pig Salad – Arugula with Duck Salami, Candied Pecans, Goat Cheese, Golden Beets, Over Night Tomatoes, Roasted Rutabaga and Wild Boar Smoked Bacon in a Blueberry Port Vinaigrette. Finished with Crispy Curried Leeks
Appetizer:
Red Deer Osso Bucco – Braised Shank in Brown’s Whiskey Porter with Rustic Mire Poix and Served atop Parsnip Celeriac Pommes Puree. Garnished with Preserved Lemon, Bone Marrow and Herbaceous Spinach Gremolata
Entrée:
Llama Ribeye – Marinated Delmonico Char-Grilled Medium Rare with Rosemary Parmesan Crusted Fingerling Potatoes. Accompanied with Roasted Winter Root Vegetables and Finished with Wild Mushroom Demi-Glace and Truffle Ghost Chile Hotel Butter
Dessert:
Salted Caramel Bourbon Cheesecake Trifle Layers of Bourbon Soaked Pound Cake, Cheesecake Morsels and Salted Caramel with Chocolate Whipped Cream
