WASHINGTON, D.C. – Pints for Prostates is hosting an Oktoberfest for a Cure reception on Sept. 12 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in The Club Room at L’Enfant Plaza in Washington, D.C., as part of the Summit to End Prostate Cancer being sponsored by Zero — The Project to End Prostates Cancer.
The Summit to End Prostate Cancer is a legislative conference focused on issues facing prostate cancer patients, survivors and their families. The Summit to End Prostate Cancer includes a Congressional reception, discussions with key legislators, legislative staff and other government decision makers, and networking opportunities with prostate cancer advocates from around the country and other key leaders in the advocacy world. ZERO staff offer training in grassroots advocacy, legislative process, fundraising and communications at the Summit.
This year’s Summit will take place Sept. 11-13.
Tickets for the Pints for Prostates Oktoberfest for a Cure Reception are $25 and include a drink coupon and hors d’oevres.
